The product and engineering teams at M-TRIBES keep working on new features and product enhancements. Here's an overview of what's coming next and what’s recently launched.
Features to become available in the next app versions or with the platform update.
Dispatchers will be able to edit stops of a booking before dispatching it to drivers.
Dispatchers and customers will be able to create bookings with only 1 stop. This feature comes with certain restrictions and can be enabled on-demand. Contact our support if you would like to turn this feature on.
Zones that are made visible to customers in the settings will now be rendered on the map in the mobile apps. A customer will see zones in the corresponding colours and will be able to learn more about zones in the new app section.
Features in development.
Tenants will be able to set capped prices for specific time intervals (for example, hourly cap, daily cap, weekly cap) to give customers the lowest possible price within a relevant time period.
Tenants will be able to manage their service areas directly on the dashboard without involving customer support and waiting for the production release.
Dispatchers will be able to end bookings on behalf of drivers if bookings are meant to be paid by an invoice.
With amount-based vouchers customers will be able to reduce the final price of a booking by an absolute amount instead of percentages.
Tenants will be able to bring e-bikes from Movelo into their fleet mix and experiment with bike-sharing business models.
Previously released features.
Instead of being matched by an algorithm, a driver will be able to grab the next package in line in the warehouse and start the corresponding booking by scanning a QR or Bar code attached to that package.
We're rolling out websockets support on the dashboard, which means updates to driver statuses, driver locations and booking statuses will now be reflected on the dashboard as soon as they're made. No more manual page refreshes! New bookings will also appear on the dashboard immediately after creation.
Tenants will be able to mute booking requests on behalf of individual drivers in case they want to keep drivers online but not distract them from the jobs they're carrying out at the moment. The feature helps in synchronizing the availability of drivers between M-TOOLS and third-party systems.
Customers can now obtain API keys to interact directly with the M-TOOLS API. The API keys section is available on the dashboard profile page.
Tenants will be able to offer different services as a combination of capabilities and capability options. For example, a tenant with a "Vehicle" capability that consists of "Bicycle", "Car" and "Truck" options will be able to offer "Delivery" service with "Bicycle" and "Car" options, and "Moving" service with a "Truck" option. Each service will have its own price matrix. The feature will initially be supported by the Webbooker only.
That's not all — we have more features to come that will improve how you and your customers use the M-TOOLS platform every day.
